If there were grants for cost of living, then most people would be in a better place. Part time job maybe. I have 2 l/2 jobs and I am not over extended yet. You might say I have my own built in grant to beat the cost of living.

Hi, hopless!

In the United States, in many of the States, there are grants to help people with certain things for certain periods. But, it depends on what the need is and the situation of the person asking for the help.

So, if you would provide more information, it will help us in giving you a more definitive answer.

Thanks!

There are non profits who may help with one months rent if you are about to be evicted. There are programs that help with electric or gas for one or two months ( partial)

It does depend on where a person lives as to what might be available.
