Does anyone know what causes lumps to grow on fingernails, on three of my nails I have big hard lumps right in the middle of the fingernail, I have filed them down but they still come back, they don't hurt but they're just unsightly and I would like to know what causes them, can anyone help please?

Anything to do with your fingernails reflects back to your diet or any kind of illness.
