About to start prepping my friends building on the inside for complete paint work. It currently is green and white and I am going to have to powerwash everything and then paint blue and white, with a blue stripe down the white on both insides of building. Along with painting of 2 bathrooms, 1 small office and 1 large office. Approx. square footage is 1500. Not including painting of the sides of the roll up doors which are 2ft wide and 15ft high. Ballpark pricing would be great. I mainly do residential, yet this is going to require quite a bit of prep work. Also will be painting a 16 ft straight up metal staircase.

Hi, kgodbey60!

Why the disagree rating with no explanation on another thread?

There are many factors that go into pricing for a paint job. Not just the prep work, but how the paint is applied - brush, roller or spray, the number of coats, whether a primer needs to be applied or not, who is paying for the paint, furniture to be moved around or not, textured or perfectly flat areas, the location where the painting is being done - prices will vary depending on the location, etc.

How much experience do you already have painting for others in order to make a profit for yourself, please?

Thanks!
