Hi

I hope you can help with something my friend and I are exploring at the moment. We have become more and more intimate over the past few months and we just weren't sure what exactly, to call what we are experiencing. I mean, I think its just making out at the moment - but when does it become 'sex'. Am I old fashioned in thinking that really, girls can't physically have sex - they can only 'make out' and satisfy each other?

And I have also searched the web for answers to the virginity question! Surely its black and white.. to lose your virginity means sexual intercourse - which takes me back to my first question.

Its so confusing so please can anyone help out?

Anything that ruptures the hymen is terminating virginity. It doesn't necessarily have to be a penis, cappie. I am sure that if you really think hard about this answer you will come to the same conclusion.

LOL.. thanks Tick! And yes, had pretty much figured that! I just couldn't quite understand what Lesbians meant when they referred to losing their virginity! Same as the whole 'having sex' thing. Which part of the 'making out' process between two girls constitutes 'sex'?

I was asked this recently, and I realised I didn't actually have a clue :-)

I fully agree with tickle. From a medical point of view, anything used to penetrate the vagina which results in rupturing the hymen terminates virginity in a women.

If you are interested in learning more about sexual practices between two women I would advise picking up a book on the subject. Do an internet search with the words "Lesbian sexual guide" and you will most likely get a lot of hits.

Oh my! Redhed, I just saw your response. From the way Cappies writes I assumed she was college age. It didn't occur to me she might be underage.
