Take her to a vet,or call a vet for advice.

There are cats experts here and many people who know a lot about cats, but they may not be online for a few hours,I suggest you call a vet straight away.

If your child was having trouble breathing, would you be online asking for advice? No, you'd be rushing them to the hospital. Give your cat the same care, consideration, and love and take her to a vet.

I agree a visit to the vet is in order.
Is this a kitten you are handfeeding? Bottle or syringe?
If so, she could have very well aspirated her food into her lungs, for which she will
Need expert care.

Well thank you for making it so clear. I am sorry I didn't give her the same care but its not ezactly the same. I am unemployed. It was late at night. I live in the country and the vet is quite a drive. I did take her the next morning. She stayed there

I'm glad you took her to the vet. Would you mind keeping up updated on her situation?

I can more than understand being short on cash and far from the nearest vet hospital.

Hheath - another newbie having trouble with the new skin and answering in the rep thing. First rep up at the top says the kitten didn't make it.

I didn't see that. I need to get used to the issues the new skin is causing, I guess.

Taf, I'm sorry your baby died. It's always really hard losing a pet. It's even harder when the pet is young and you're left feeling like you should have done more.

You did all you could in your situation. It's possible that even an immediate vet visit wouldn't have been able to help. Unfortunately, kittens can go south very quickly, and it's often next to impossible to turn them around.
