I have walked away from a high paying job because of ethics and was unemployed.

A person has to stand up for their ethicial beliefs

Stand for what you know is right.
Being able to look in the mirror and say , "I did the right thing" is more important than looking the other way.

It may not make you the most popular person, but at least you can lay down and sleep with a clear conscience.

Absolutely do what feels right to you. There are a lot of unethical people out there.

If something bothers me to the point that I'm having "hmmm" thoughts, I leave it alone.
If it goes against your code of ethics, you have to answer to and be true to yourself. Leave it alone.

My Dad.. was the most honest man in the world and he always told us.; "Stand for what you know is right even if sometimes you have to stand alone".

He lived up to that many times.
