Is it legal or illegal for me to buy non-controlled prescription medication on the internet from a pharmacy without providing a prescription and ordering it from another country? I live in the USA.

If it is not a "controled" medication there is no need for a prescription,

If it requires a prescription and you don't have one, no it is not legal to order it from another country.

*** also I watched a channel 2 ( Atlanta) special where they tested mail order prescription drugs from places that sold without a prescription. About 3/4 of them were fake and not real, merely looked like the real thing

I believe OP is referring to drugs which are not controlled substances but do require a prescription - Viagra is a big "foreign" drug at the moment.

Unless the person ordering has the real thing on hand, including the packaging, he/she has no way of knowing if what is being shipped is actually what it's purported to be. You would need to compare the shipped drugs with the formerly prescribed drugs.

It's not illegal. That's the legal advice. The personal advice is that this is a very dangerous practice.

Hello r:

I don't know about BUYING... What I DO know, is that it's illegal for you to possess a prescription drug WITHOUT a prescription.
