I was 18 turning 19 when I meet the mother of my 1 year old son. I was in college with no work experience. She was 37 years old with 5 other boys, the oldest is 3 years younger than me. I have no relationship with her or the child and I want to give up my paternity rights because my life is ruin. The mother also is bisexual and she is making my life hell in Tennessee. It was a one night stand or a setup. Will I still have to pay child support if I give up my paternity right ? I would rather take a chance when he is grown to establish a relationship than be subjected to her mental illness.

You may be able to give up your rights, but you might still have to pay child support.

You mentioned it was a one night stand or setup. Has paternity even been established?

Here's another thought - the mother is mentally unstable (according to you) but you are going to leave YOUR CHILD with her to raise because she's making your life hell?

Pick up your manhood, go to Court and file for custody - one night stand or not YOUR CHILD (and the Court will do DNA testing) deserves better than this.

And this is another case of one night stands and the mother is unstable - doesn't anyone think before he takes off his pants?
