How do you check and add fluid to a LT155 John Deere drive train mower's speed is slow and belt has been replaced.

The transaxle is technically a sealed unit and not serviceable. Some do have a plug about an inch in diameter on top where fluid can be added. Would not count on it doing anything unless there are signs of a leak.
