I can't seem to see external hard drives mounted to a networked computer.
The drives mount and are visible/ accessible on my iMac, but I can not see nor access them over my home network on my laptop. The computers do network fine, I can share and work on each computer over the network and access anything on either of the main drives, but when external hard drives are mounted to either computer, they do not show up in the list of drives in the Network pane, so there is no way to work on them remotely over the network. Very annoying. Apple talk is active, firewall is off, the network works fine otherwise- i.e.. I can work on the other computers HD, but the external drives don't show up...
What am I doing wrong?
Thank You!
