It does not sound as though nursing would be her cup of tea.

Even if she were able to get a job where she doesn't have to give shots or work around blood, she's going to have to get through nursing school first.

In nursing school she is going to have to start IVs, insert catheters, clean up the elderly and infirm, help deliver babies, and work emergency room rotations, just to name a few.

What possesses her to think about nursing? Or any other medical field? Nurses give shots, work around blood, assist the doctor and other specialists, calm the injured - it is front line care. Unless she went into physical therapy where she would not give shots or start an IV, etc. But those therapists work their shoes off. What would your friend do if a patient threw up on her?

But she could go into medical transcription, medical records, medical librarian. Fairly blood-less.
