I have a rheem, Model: RBHC-14J11NFD. Yesterday it stopped cooling. I have new filters, I cleaned the permentant filter, I rinsed out the outside unit of debry. It still will not cool. There is no ice building up in the unit to suggest that it needs freon. What can it be?

First thing to check is the circuit breakers in your home and the fuses or circuit breakers in the outdoor disconnect next to the outside unit. I am sure you already checked to make sure the thermostat is set for cooling.

One quick low voltage check you can do is switch the thermostat fan control from auto to on and see if the furnace blower comes on.
