I am 18, I'm on The Pill, that prevents me from getting pregnant, and it regulates my period. I've been on the pill for about a year now, and for the first time my period has been brown. I don't understand why. Usually my period is light and I get the brown stuff at the end of my period but never as my whole period. I am sexually active but my partner (husband to be) does not ejaculate inside of me, he either pulls out about 10 seconds before he ejaculates or puts a condom on before or in the middle of the intercourse. My period is regular, it is not a day too late or too early, it always starts on the predicted day. Now as well, I sometimes forget to drink my pill but I always ''catch up'' the next day. Can someone please please help me. The stress is killing.

I've noticed that my question is not clear. I'm asking, why would I get a brown period even though I've been on the pill for about a year now?
