Why? That's the million dollar question. With closed records the best you might hope for is medical information if it's a dire need and that's about it.

have you asked your adopted parents about what info they know ?

have you sent a letter to be put in the adoption file, in case the birth parents send a letter in ( some states allow that)

have you hired a PI to look,
