I just started taking the ovulation test and they are a little difficult to read but I believe that I had a positive one my question is is there any chance that I am not ovulating. I am 21 and my husband and I would love another child I just don't know if I should go to a doctor or just wait. I have been trying for 6 months

If your periods are regular, odds are you are ovulating. Certainly there could be a problem, but while six months seems like a long time, it can take many couples longer. Most will become pregnant within a year of active trying. Many doctors won't even worry about testing until at least a year as passed. If that does occur, be sure both of you have some testing done.
Give the ovulation tests a bit more time... they can be confusing sometimes. Ovulation generally occurs about 12-16 days before the next period is due... might be a good idea to start testing a few days even before this time frame as some women do ovulate earlier and some later. Unlike a pregnancy test where even a faint line can indicate pregnancy, ovulation test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. This is because we naturally have some LH in our systems through a cycle... it just rises as the body prepares for ovulation. It doesn't mean you actually did ovulate, only that your body prepared for it.
