No one here is going to advise you how to break the Law. There are Federal Laws as well as State Laws which apply.

This site is pretty clear cut, explains ALL situations very well.

Wow.. I appreciate the help!

I don't mean to sound like a rude person here, but in no way was I asking to get help in breaking the law. My question was just clarification as to the law itself. I have read many postings and news reports regarding the implimentation of the new law, and there are many grey areas as to what the law covers. Weather it's the physical act of playing onlne or the wire transfer of the money to the site in the first place. I'm trying to avoid breaking the law, but as I am still playing I need to know what the greay area entails, I can't seam to make sense of the bill as I read it so I was hoping for some expert advice. Although I do appreciate you dismissing me so quickly. Your defanitly a professional like none other.!

Did you read the site I gave you? It's very plainly laid out.

What are your exact questions? Wire transfer of money? Playing on line?

And what State? I'm not good at guessing.

And I repeat - if it's against the law to gamble on line I don't know why you need to know the penalty. It's simply against the law.

The site you supposidly gave didn't show up, I see no link or web address. As for me wanting to gamble if its illegal, the point I'm trying to make is there is so much grey area in the law I don't know if its illegal or not. Some folks say its simply illegal to fund an account electronicly due to the wire transfer act of 1961, if that's so then I can still play if I fund it through other means. So I just need to know if that's the case or if it is just and fact cut and dry illegal. I live in TN and just want a little help I don't care about the penalty persay just if I'm breaking the letter of the law or not.

Hello G:

It's illegal in the state I live in. It's the GAMBLING that illegal, not transferring money. Stopping you from transferring money is how they enforce the law. But, there are banks in my state who transfer money to anywhere I like.

Will they catch you?? I don't think they're watching.
