When first installed the bladder is pressured by air and not water.
Read your instruction manual. Didn't it mention that to start with a new bladder tank there will air in the bladder until it works out and is replaced by water. Give it time to break in. Good luck, Tom

Thanks Speedball1, This problem has been going on for 3 days now. How long should this process take ? The tank bladder was precharged to 25psi and with my 20-40psi p/sw I took the percharged pressure to 18 psi.

Shut bthe power off to the pump and open a cold water faucet to bleed off the pressure. Now set the bladder tank pressure to 2 PSI under the cut in point. In your case it should be 18 PSI.
When you first install a bladder tank the bladder will compress with air. This will gradually work out with use, how long will depend on time and how much you use it. Be patient the air will disappear in time. Cheers, Tom
