Well, it all started in a english leson about 11 months ago, this boy in my class did a song abou me, consisding of things about fast food resterants. And quite a lot of people found it funny, including me bcoz he is the class clown and makes fun of everyone. Then it got round the scl which seemed OK at first bcoz rumors pass. But this 1 didn't, sum boys in the yr below posted it on utube, and we had to have it removed, by this time the class clown felt quite bad bcoz he never meant it to last that long and tried to tell them and the people in my class to stop. But there not. They keep on going, I've tried telling a teacher egnoring calling them divs [but worse] and telling my parents. I have know choice but to take it and I don't know what to do. I look in the mirror and I'm not as skinny as some people in my class but I didn't think I'm fat, now, well this is why I am writing. They have completely changed myself of steem. I was denied slimming pills, but I asked, I have tried fasting and running more so they would stop but they never do.
Please help!!

This is a joke that got out of hand, the more attention it gets,or you give it,the more it grows,if you ignore it,it will fade.

Don't let a stupid insensitive joke throw yourself esteem, drastic dieting can make you very ill.

Make the best of your appearance, pretend to be confident, fake it until to make it!

Look at yourself in the mirror, look at your good features, nice hair, eyes.

Look at your good qualities,good friend,good student,good sister/daughter.

You are not the total of a joke, you are much more, let your true self shine through.

Yes it hurts when people won't stop, but it will fade out,you just have to hang in there until then.

Gather your friends around you, have support at lunch time etc.

People who normally feel bad about thierself joke and make fun of others. So normally the ones doing it, are the ones that feel poorly about theirself.

First are you over weight, yes or no, not what they think, but according to the doctor ? If you are slightly over weight, then don't fast, ( you only hurt yourself) go on a real program to lose weight over months and months.

Please use some of the English from that class here. Chatspeak is not allowed. This is not a text.

I wish you luck on learning that people's remarks only reflect what they are missing in their own lives. It's just words.

Got to agree with some of the posts here. Sometimes it passes, sometimes it sticks, and it mainly depends on how YOU react to it. Try to laugh it off, and soon enough it will end. If not, well you can always keep on getting a healthier diet and lose a couple pounds, and soon enough them teasing you for being 'fat' just won't apply anymore.

On the diet part, I totally agree with Fr_Chuck. Ask a doctor or a nutritionist, and have them talk with your parents as well about creating a healthier diet and active lifestyle (they are the ones buying the food after all). To get things started, I'd advice eliminating snacks like french fries, candy bars, etc. They offer poor nutritional benefits so eliminating them won't harm you (unlike eliminating, say, milk or meat). Also try to eat more water instead of sweet drinks, and if possible eliminate soda completely. For breakfast, I always have special K cereal with non-fat milk and it's pretty delicious ;D to replace my favorite sandwich of ham and cheese with bacon on baguette bread (subway style), I have a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato and avocado on 2 slices of whole wheat bread - and it is super yummy ^_^

That's just a couple of tips that can really help you lose some 10-20 pounds over a couple months, which I'm sure will help you get things started in case your parents don't help you on that side. I'll check on this question later on to see how you are doing :) good luck.

Listen, Im 13 and I weigh 156 lb. But my body appearance doesn't show much of it. If you are dealing with obesity, You know, once you hit puberty, it seems that life changes in the blink of an eye. Don't feel bad, you and your friend are not the only one dealing with it. Just remember this: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.
