We have a grohe tub shower set up. The Tub Diverter is leaking from the wall/base of the unit with both the shower and/or tub running, and the shower head runs while the diverter is filling the tub? Any suggestions?

You have to be more specific. Is the diverter knob on top of the tub spout or is it built into the faucet itself ? Can you post picture of it ? Back to you...

It is easy to fix just remove the spout and replace it with a new one, if it is a threaded type buy some Teflon tape and apply it on the pipe threads, if a slip fit type use some silicon gill on the O ring before installation, good luck.

Tried removing spout,but it won't spin, how do Grohe faucet's get installed?

There are two types of Spout, slip fit type or threaded type, Look under the spout next to the wall line and if you see a square hole then you have a split fit (compression) type spout. If no square hole then you have a threaded in type.

To remove a split fit (compression) type spout you take an Allen wrench in the correct size and unscrew the Allen head screw and pull the spout out.

To remove the threaded type turn the spout counter clock wise until it is removed.

To install the slip fit spout check the pipe for any sharp edge if any remove it with a file, use some silicon gill on the O ring before installation.

To install the threaded type spout make sure to use some Teflon tape on the pipe threads, Thanks.

Sorry, this is NOT a Grohe diverter spout. This is a generic, inexpensive spout you can get ACE hardware. Follow John's advice to remove it...
