I have a confederate 100 dollar bill dated April 6th 1863. st series serial number 2248, Richmond. Is this bill worth anything and if so how much.

Probably worth several hundred dollars - depending on condition and the particulars of it's printing. Try Civil War Price Guide (http://www.valuetrac.com/category.php?category=Coins/Currency/Tokens&newcategorysearch=yes&sortby=category) or similar site by doing a search on "confederate currency".

Hi, jlira!
Do you know if it's genuine currency from that time, please? Since the Civil War, there have been many counterfeits produced.
Thanks!

Today is July 22, 2011 and I see the SAME bill, same date and number in an auction. AT LEAST ONE must be a fake!
