For a selection of Peppermint Oil click on; peppermint oil where to buy - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGLM_enUS380US380&q=peppermint+oil+where+to+buy&aq=5&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=Peppermint+oil&gs_rfai=)
This may help.
Peppermint test
The final test, with fixtures in place, can be made with either smoke or peppermint. To make the peppermint test, seal all traps with water and all openings with caps or plugs. All windows and doors should be closed tightly in order to aid in the detection of leaks. The system is partly filled through its highest point with a solution of hot water and oil of peppermint. The tester should avoid getting oil of peppermint on his hands or clothes.
To detect the leaks, he will have to be entirely free of its odor. After solution is added, the system is capped and allowed to stand for a short time. Then the tester goes over every joint, fixture connection, and trap. Wherever he detects the odor of peppermint, there is a leak. Note that the system needs to be only partially filled with the oil and hot water mixture as it vaporizes and so reaches all points.
Good luck, tom

I can get peppermint oil , the problem is its has not been as strong I was just wondering if anybody has used any and if so where did they buy it , I have used oil that I got from cvs (to expensive 20$ for a 25ml bottle) I have bought from a confectionary store and it was not potent enough , there is a new trend of using peppermint oil for a diet or ibs, so that is mostly what pops up online , thank you for all of the help tom I have read most of your posting and finally had something that I had not seen. We are near dc so smoke bombs are always last resort ( all we need is homeland security asking us questions) we do these test at least 3 times a week so this is an ongoing problem, once again thank you for all of the help
