I wake up feeling tired or my body just aches on arising. I have fibromyalgia. I am trying to decise which bed is best. I have laid in the tempurpedic with the ergo and it was awesome. I have never seen the sleep number bed except on TV commercials. Just wanted to know what you think and any advice.
Thanks

I have horrible lower back problems, upper back problems, etc and I've been sleeping on either a Tempurpedic bed or the equivalent memory foam (3 layers of 4" thick memory foam pads) for well over 15 years. I like the fact that my body is shaped by the memory foam and I don't have pressure points to contend with. Since I had to leave my $1,500 Tempurpedic bed in Florida some 10 years ago I've made up my own version of it and it's just great. I buy the best 4" memory foam mattress pads I can afford off Ebay for about $120 each and just put them on top of the bottom part of a mattress and I'm just fine. I threw away the top of the mattress a few years ago and now just have the bottom hard part and 3 layers of 4" memory foam. This way if I have to turn the memory foam over or rearrange it or move my bed I don't have to contend with one large very heavy Temperpedic mattress. Even the single bed mattress was 35 pounds in dead weight! Also the cover for the Temperpedic got dirty and could not just be taken off and thrown into a washing machine and put back on the mattress. I tried, wasn't happening. Now if I want extra warmth in the winter I use a fitted mattress pad. In the summer I just put my bottom sheet directly over the mattress pads. Works for me at a heck of a lot less money out of my pocket.

I had a lot of back issues, and the Temperpedic was the best thing I ever got. I also do a mattress cover for any mattress.

I've had both and the tempur-pedic is best by far. I also have fibro and lupus, in addition to sleep apnea even tho' I am not over weight. Turmeric & ginger, 1 teas. Each a day in water or milk has helped me more than I can explain. Cinnamon is also good for us, just harder to mix in liquid. Look 'em up to find out!
