Who suggested the antibiotics, the vet ? If not, and it is your own idea, you had better take your dog to the vet.

Has he been treated for fleas or mange? Could be a food allergy as well. Does he lick his paws a lot or scratch at his face? A lot of dogs are allergic to grains. If he is eating commercial dog food,t here tends to be a lot of grains and fillers that dogs develop allergies to over time.

I am with Tick here, who's idea was it for the antibiotics, and was it prescribes specifically for the skin irritation? Are you bathing him at all? If so what product are you using?

He really needs to be seen by a vet so he can do some skin scrapings to try and figure out the problem.

It could be allergies, an infection, or even could be a form of mange.
