I just received a Homelite trimmer model ST-145.The tube with the gaz filter was broken inside of the tank.I would like to know where it has to be connected?In the top part of the carb or the bottom?

Inlet fuel attaches to the carburetor via the "top" hose barb -
Bypass fuel attaches to the carburetor via the "bottom" hose barb

Inlet fuel hose w/fuel filter attaches to the carburetor via the "top" hose barb -
Bypass fuel hose (short Hose) attaches to the carburetor via the "bottom" hose barb

Inlet fuel hose w/fuel filter attaches to the carburetor via the "top" hose barb -
Bypass fuel hose (short Hose) attaches to the carburetor via the "bottom" hose barb
