Hello,
We've been having issues with our AC this season so far (we live in Atlanta, GA so it's already very hot here). First the AC was not working great and a lot of water was collecting on the basement floor around the unit. I had the technician come out and he replaced the freon stuff and then it worked great for about a week. Then last night, it just stopped working. The digital thermostat went blank & the AC isn't pumping anything, just humming a little. It's a Trane system. Seems like it always breaks on a Sunday when no-one can help! Does anyone know what could be the problem? I took off the face of the thermostat & it doesn't appear to have any batteries.
Thanks,

Is there more water on the floor?? Might be a blown fuse in the control board. Or you need new battries in the stat.
