We have physical custody of our 6 month old grandson we've had him 2 months no communication with his mother DSS has not taken custody of this child so his birth mother still has legal custody we don't know where she is since she got out of jail she was charged with child abuse because she admitted smoking crack while caring for him and she did not have him properly restrained in car we have already adopted first child now 2 1/2 yrs old HELP what do we need to do now tks we live in nc
