Randomly, at any time during the day or night we have no hot water (nothing at all comes out - it doesn't even gurgle). That's everywhere in the house. Sometimes it will start if we open and close both the cold and hot water faucets repeatedly, sometimes we just have to give up and wait till it decides to work again.
It looks like some sort of pressure problem, but it's strange because it doesn't happen all the time. It goes on for a while and then everything works well for a few months, until it starts again.
I'm not sure but I believe it happens in winter, anyway we don't get really cold weather here (maybe 4 Celsius degrees at night)
We have an electric hot water system.
Any ideas?
