Hey everyone :)
Right, well last year I got into a little bit of trouble (nothing too serious) and it made me reflect on my life and what I want to do with my life. I'm 27 now, and about a year ago I quit my job and went back to college to study Science. I'm just finishing my course now and have been accepted to University to study Chemistry and Anthropology. The thing that is playing on my mind is, whether I will be able to make friends there, because all the other students will be a lot younger than me. I mean, I am a bit immature myself at times hehe, but still, I do worry a bit. College was OK because my class is for mature students 19+.
Oh well, I suppose I just wanted to hear your opinions really.
Thank you for reading, take care all. :)

I have older friends and I have younger friends. To me it is about having something in common (age not being one of them). I think you'll be just fine. Besides, while college is a good place to find friends, that isn't the main reason you're there. Get the degree my friend! Good luck, and I'm glad you decided to go back.

Goodness dude, I went back to college at the tender age of 38, 11 years older than you. LOL. You'll be fine, I promise.

You aren't at school to make friends, you are there to get your degree.

Oh I totally agree, my primary goal is to get a degree. I'm just wondering about living with lots of 18 year olds, haha, will be interesting though. Hopefully there will be other mature students there too.
Thank you for your insight and opinions. Makes me feel a bit better :)

18 year olds ar becoming the minority in universities these days. Many people are realizing that they cannot get far in life without a degree so many are going back to college at older ages. The average age of a graduate nurse in the US right now is 42.
