I have given up trying to identify this valve-cartridge. I believe it comes out of a 8-9 year old shower and I think it is a Delta, but I don't find such an animal in their parts. I have inserted a web address below where a drawing of the pressure balance valve and of what I'm calling the valve/cartridge can be seen. Can anybody inform me what this is? The shower these are installed in will be very hard to install a new faucet mechanism in for a variety of reasons, but mostly because the pipes are embedded in cement. Thanks, John

Milo, here's a web site where you can see the photos my wife managed to get where you don't have to join like snapfish. I have had no luck uploading on to this site.

Thanks, John

Thank you... I saw the photos...

Post photo of the trim including handles if you can... This cartridge can be Price Pfister, Delta even Moen. Trim should I.D. the manufacturer... Many brand use generic rough-in valve body but have distinctive design of the trim...

Thanks
