My washer got to 8 minutes left and would not drain or spin. My son left it on and I discovered it today. The panel was still on and the cycle was still on and it smelled sort of like burnt rubber when I opened the lid to rearrange the load. It did not appear to be unbalanced and had not started its spin cycle. I turned the washer off and started a rinse cycle. It was filling a bit and seemed to be working and I left. I went back to find that it would not drain or spin and now had more water in it. I turned it off and tried the drain and spin cycle. I heard the clicks it makes when going from one section of the cycle to the next, but it did not spin or drain. It is now in the very tight laundry space of a condo and full of water. What do I do to get the water out? And what should I check and how do I do that? Thanks!
