So my boy friend has court for a second violation of probation... this violation is because he could not pay. He has no job and its been very difficult for him to find a job.. and the first volaiton was because he didn't keep incontact wit his officer because he was hospilatized for a little bit... he is on probation for 2 dui's but that was years ago he hast been in any trouble its he can't afford it what is going to happen to him??

The Judge just might give him some time in jail that would wipe out whatever fines he has left to pay. I'm not really enthusiastic about him getting more probation time in this situation.

It may depend, there has been current cases in GA where a person was released because they merely could not pay and some GA courts are not sending them to prison for merely unpaid fines, but again they are looking at other community service or other things, and if those fail they did send to jail.
But these cases are still untested in supreme court so time will tell.

It will at the end of the day up to the judge
