You're wrong, Mohammed did not start Islam. The first man and woman on earth were Muslims. Every prophet from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mary to Mohammed were Muslims.
Mohammed sww was the final messenger of Allah swt and he came to spread the message to all of mankind. The other prophets brought their messages to their own people only. If Muslims believe he was the final one, there by logic it means there were more before him and there were more than 100,000 of them.

Stick with the facts, no one was called a Muslim before Mohammed and no one had his particular views regarding religion. Before Mohammed there were the Jews and the Christians. What you are saying is that Jews and Christians are Muslims, that is offensive, since Muslims deny the very essence of both religions

SuperNova is stating the way we as muslims believe, the rest of the world thinks Islam began only after Muhammad(pbuh) started the message of Islam.
But we as muslims never consider him as the father of Islam. We believe him to be the last and final messenger who came with the message to the whole of mankind, while all the other Prophets and/or Messengers were sent for their time and the people of specific nations.

I would probably offend everyone on this site if I stated who I believe is the father of Islam. But I agree with you that Muhammad was the "founder".

I still find the suggestion that I am a Muslim offensive just as I find the suggestion that Mohammed is in any way superior in his teaching to Jesus offensive. The teaching of Jesus is universal he told his disciples to take that message to all nations and to every part of the Earth. He did not preach war but peace, he did not teach subjection and killing of non believers

In or about the year 570 the child who would be named Muhammad and who would become the Prophet of one of the world's great religions, Islam, was born into a family belonging to a clan of Quraish, the ruling tribe of Mecca, a city in the Hijaz region of northwestern Arabia

How confused you are. When Jesus comes back it is not to save islam but to demonstrate his victory over satan and enforce it on the Earth. Christains believe differently from muslins particularly about the nature of God so it cannot be said that islam completes christianity since it tries to overturn basic christian belief. In Moses time and in Jesus time no one was muslim, What Jesus did was change our way of thinking about God and relating to God. After Jesus the old ways of temple sacrifice were done away with. I would like you to think on this. Christians believe in and see miracles even to this day. Speaking and praying in the name of Jesus has real power. Where are the miracles in the muslim world? If you speak in the name of Muhhamed what will happen?
