Hello all,


My honeywell vision pro8000 touch screen stopped working the other day. My wife said she woke up in the middle of the night and the light on the unit was lit up. The display lights up but I can not change any of the settings. If I leave the unit attached to the wall, the AC will kick on and keep the house cool but I don't know what it's set to.

Any advice?

Kill the power to furnace at the breaker box,wait a few minutes and then back on, sometimes they need to be reset,, you may then need to reprogram,, let us know

Sometimes,not very often with a honeywell tstat they just go bad

I did what you suggested and the device did reset, however I can't program it. It's stuck waiting at for me to change the date. I think it broken.
