My last period was October 30 before I had sex the following weekend nov 4.. I am on the birth control pill however we did not use a condom, when I was home for thanksgiving I did not want to have my period so I skipped it with my birth control... now weeks later I am experiencing extreme cramping and some brownish discharge?? Am I pregnant or is this a perhaps side affect of skipping my period? I think its impossible to be pregnant because I would not have ovulated around the time of sex.. . or am I just not thinking right/ I'm just so scared and stressed!

Honestly, it could be either/or.

You could be pregnant since the pill is not 100% effective. However, it could be because you "played" with the hormones because you did not want to get your period.

I do think you should contact your doctor to make sure that everything is okay.
