I've lost the manual for my 2008 or 2009 Noma 5200 BTU air conditioner and I can't remember what all the buttons do... and it's unseasonably warm here in Montreal. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

I hope you've figured them out by now, but in case not and if anyone needs to know, I still have my Noma 8200 BTU window AC manual. I'd assume the buttons are the same. There are 6 buttons in all (on mine, that is):

* (2) Temperature Up/Down keys (2 solid black triangle symbols) - set the desired temperature;

*"Mode" button (hollow triangle symbol) - this changes in sequence to 3 modes: 1st-COOLING (snowflake symbol); 2nd-FAN-ONLY (3-blade fan symbol); 3rd-ENERGY SAVING (electric plug symbol)

*Timer (clock symbol). You set the "power on" timer when unit is off, and the "power off" when the unit is on.

*Fan speed (6, 5, & 3-blade fan symbols)

*On/Off (red half-circle intersected with vertical line)

Dup.

The alram q keeps going off and I followed the end of season instructions and it won't keep going off
