I have a "boyce motor meter" gas cap with large gaudy golden wings made in long island city, New York. I don't know too much about cars but it looks like the car was old and expensive! It was made at the motometer co. in the usa. Please give me some feedback.

Hi, kkoenig!
You definitely have a collectible! How old it might be is yet to be determined.
Does yours look like any of those that you'll find via clicking on the following link?
Boyce Motor Meter - Google Search (http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=Boyce+Motor+Meter&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=)
If so, which one or ones, please?
Thanks!

After close inspection and your samples I really think what I have is a boyce moter-meter hood ornament the one with large wings. Please tell me how uch it could possibly be worth and who may be interested.
