My research says that growth stops between 18 and 22. Heredity is the biggest factor.

Stretching and standing up straight will certainly make him APPEAR taller but will not cause him to grow.

He will be the height his body is intended by his DNA make up. He can not "make" his self taller. So they should stop the worry since there is nothing they can do
