17 and 22 yr old married due to ultimatum of 17 yr old parents. She wants divorce and to leave home to escape parental control. At age 18 after divorce can they force her to live under parents roof if she doesn't want to. Ultimatums were marry this 22 yr old _ or get abortion _ or stay with ex who is 20 and they will pursue statutory rape. She has since lost the baby is 17 married to someone she doesn't want to b married to and wants to leave to be with her ex boyfriend. In NYS will her parents regain parental control since souse is 22 and married with consent of parents?

Too many issues

First where does "she" live, in many states 17 would not be stat rape. And at 20 to 17 normally only a misdemeanor if it is.

Parents can never ( NEVER) force any girl to have an abortion, so that is a false threat.

After 18 in the US, no one can force a adult ( 18 is adult) to live at home.

So the girl should merely be with the boy she wants to be with, esp if this is the babies father, she should not marry another man just because parents say so ( in the US) and she does not have to get an abortion

At the time of marriage the person becomes emancipated.
