I am currently on probation , due to my idiotic actions , which I have no problem paying for. I was put on probation in one county , which I then had transferred to another due to work. Luckily with my record I was still able to get a good job and for that I am thankful. The problem is the job was still over 75 minutes away , plus heavy tolls , 8.25 one way. The worst part was I have lost my license due to it being a dwi charge . Now , my officer told me I could get my license back , but failed to tell me , that she needed to put in a request to albany . Due to my job six days a week , I had no time. Finally , I went to get it, pay the huge dollars and was told about this step by DMV . I asked and she said oh yes , that's what needs to be done. But at the same time , she said she would not do it due to I requested a transfer to another county to be closer to work . ( my wife , who is a godsend has been driving me to work) 75 min there /back /there 7 back again. I have now been in the new county since October of last year , and still no transfer , It is really hard , cause I am missing work due to I have to take off hrs, just to get there . First I heard the christmas holiday held it up. Then you owe 30 dollars, when that's paid , it was something else. My probation officer from the first county had to refax papers 6 times to the office , and she was wondering what the problem was. What do I do, this travel is killing my wife and my career 8 months is a long time to take for a transfer . I saw the signed papers, but still nothing , this new county has no idea I am here . Please help . Thank You
