Had some of the "Honda" boys removing the alternator from a 1991 Acura Integra prior to swapping the engine with another Acura. They broke off the connector on the top of the alternator that had 1 12V wire attached to it. I tried to put a crimp connector on it to get it working and save them the money of replacing it completely, however as expected, the connector is a little loose and I suspect not performing 100%. I noticed a connector/stud on the back of the alternator labelled "B" and was wondering if it is electrically the same connection as the stud at the top that got broken off? Physically they look like they're connected when I removed the shield from the back, just wanted to make sure before I attached the wire to it and possibly short something out, or destroy something. Thanks for your help!
