We cannot assume the Salary range since it varies with different companies and more over the main thing is with the professional's skills, expertise, accuracy, certifications, experiences, etc.. etc.. But if you are planning to take up a course, you need to decide yourself before you begin looking for the admission. These two courses are career type, not just simple as other course, you can there's no limit with the increase in technology. Suppose if you go for Networking, you'll need to take up the basic courses like MCSE, CCNA, Red Hat Linux, but there are still many courses ahead after you are done with these basic courses, the more you earn your certification the more the salary and it goes with the experience as well. In the same way with the Software Engineering, you'll be able to earn certification and go forward. So I would suggest you to select the one you are mostly interested in and time will come for you.
