I have rebuilt the fuel pump,but still getting too much gas and no power.

It should not get too much fuel save an incorrect assembly of the fuel pump; does it have three or four screws holding it together?

It's a 3 screw.I know the pump is right now,because I rebuilt it after the owner did.He "forgot " a spring.I wonder if he also worked on the carb.Thank you for your help. Tenring
