a scuba diver at a depth of 80 ft. begins her ascent to the ocean surface. Her rate of change is 2 ft/s. Which equation represents her depth in feet t seconds after she begins her ascent? 2t-80, 80-2t, -80-2t, or 80 +2t

She is first at 80 ft below the water.
She rises at a rate of 2 ft/s.
That means, she depth she attains each second, is being decreased by 2.
After 1 second, she's at 78 ft
After 2 seconds, at 76 ft, etc.
So, you are removing depth from the initial 80 ft.
Look for an equation where you have 80 ft minus something, and you're done!
Post the answer you obtained. :)
