I just purchased the faucet I want for my kitchen however, it doesn't have the correct attachment for my stand-alone sprayer.
My b-i-l says there is no way to convert this new faucet to take the sprayer attachment.
Can anyone advise me on if there is a way to do this?

Doesn't have the correct attachment or is there no provision for an attached sprayer at all? If it did not come from the factory with a sprayer you will not be able to fit it with one after market. What brand and model is it?

There is no provision for a sprayer and as I don't know how these things work I thought "can't you just buy and adapter?"
I already have a sprayer that works perfectly well I just want to replace the faucet.

Not a big brand in my area. Go online or where you bought it. Most come with or without a sprayer. If you have a sprayer and want to get rid of it, no problem. If you don't have a sprayer and want one you are out of luck, no adapter
