Hello, I hope somebody can help with a problem that has been driving me crazy!

We have a regular Grohe shower in our bathroom. Normally, it takes a while for the hot water to start flowing out of it - perhaps about a minute of gradual trickling, then it kicks into action.

However, recently it has been taking longer and longer to "kick in" and now we just can't get any hot water flow out of it at all, it's just a weak spitting trickle at best.

There is plenty of hot water coming out of both the hot water tap in the bath, and in the sink, however, so there's no problem with the hot water supply.

Can anyone help? I am hoping that the gradual degradation of the shower would indicate something being blocked up... any ideas?

Many thanks!

Can't see your picture. Most likely a defective pressure balancing valve.

Go to this site to find model of your valve.

Grohe has a limited lifetime warranty. Go to this site and contact Grohe about replacement part. I find their site difficult to navigate.

A good place to start would be the mixng valve. Is it a cartridge? Could be clogged at the hot inlet and needs to be removed and cleaned.
