What is the procedure to become custom clearing and forwarding agent in INdia

This the standard Procedure involved in getting the Clearing and Forwarding Agent License.
Step 1 : We have to work for more than 3 years in some clearing and Forwarding Agency.
Step 2 : Get a Bona-fide Card or ID card from the Agency you are working.
Step 3 : The customs and Excise Dept will Call for the Exam for the Clearing and forwarding License.
Step 4 : We have to Get Pass in all the three Exam.
Step 5 : Then we have to deposit 2 lakhs Rupees towards the License fee.
Step 6 : Get a Surety bond from the High Profile Professional.( Ex: Chartered Account etc).

If One gets all these done then they will issue the License without any hindrance.
