How much time do you get for the frist probation violation

The time given for a probation violation, whether a misdemeanor or felony, would obviously depend on the original sentencing judge and circumstances surrounding the violation.
The judge has the authority to impose a revocation of probation and make the offender complete the entire original sentence. However, there can be exceptions to the rule as well. I've personally experienced situations where a partial sentence ('shock-time') was imposed and after completion of the time my original probation was reinstated.
Hope this helps.
