My Kenmore dishwasher will only start a cycle after I have reset the dishwater by flipping the breaker, what can I do to fix it?

When you go to flip the braeker is it set on ON, did it trip or was it completely in the off position? A tripped breaker will have its lever kind of wiggly and in the center of fully ON and fully OFF.
