Pelosium.
A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The new element has been named Pelosium. Pelosium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.
These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
The symbol of Pelosium is PU.
Pelosium's mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons within the Pelosium molecule, leading to the formation of isodopes.
This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientist to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical Morass.
When catalyzed with money, Pelosium activates CNNadnausium, an element that radiates orders of magnitude with more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons as Pelosium.

The scariest part of the whole Queen Pelosi mess is that she will likely be reelected as her district has never had a different party hold the seat she now holds in something like 100 years. How refreshing to know we are in for 4 more years of this garbage. Personal jets, personal assistants, etc, etc. ad nauseum. I think she definitely needs the air in her fat head changed.
Anyone have a wastecan handy for me to upchuck in?

Remember Kennedy's seat! There is some hope!

Dude, why are you sinking down to their level?

Not sure what level you mean, but as for me I'm tired of paying a third of my income for taxes that gets wasted and given to people who don't want to work.
I know you're a good guy NK, but I'm not sure that you understand how things truly are here in the US since you don't live and work here. It's getting pretty nuts down here.

RickJ I live and work in the US nothing in my life has changed well except my tax return was a little bigger then it was last year. So what has changed for you?

I'm not that selfish. Let's look at the big picture
1. Taxes are way too high and the current admin wants them higher.
2. Government spending is very wasteful.
3. There is no reason why people on welfare, who are able to work, should continue to receive funds.
4. Banks should NOT get money from my tax dollars.
5. Congress people should not get their own airport.
6. People who "claim" low income should not be able to get free cell phone service.
7. The government should NOT tell me how to run my business.
8. The current tax structure is a joke. We need something fair to everyone.
9. Capital gains tax is robbery.
10. If the government can run on a negative balance, why can't I?
11. We rely TOO MUCH on imports - especially oil.
12. There are WAY too many government jobs... and to boot, they pay far above the "going wage" to the employees for what they do
13. I'm tired of Presidents, Senators and Congressmen not abiding by what they say is "best for America".
If time were not an issue (I work 60 hours a week at my full time job, about 10 hours a week at my part time job, and I have a family of 8 that I should be spending MORE time with) I'd write a book!
We need seriousreform.
I know that this answer will not really answer your question adequately, spitvenom, but you caught me in the right mood to ramble.
End of rant :)

That will change next year as the Tax Cuts expire. That's why I still like the flat tax proposals. Instead of your employer paying your taxes, you would.

Amen! A flat tax would be good. Or a national sales tax. EITHER would be better than the theft of income for waste that's going on now.

So in a nut shell nothing has really changed you are just upset with how the government works. I can understand that.

I'd really love to know I'm paying the same percentage as Gates and Spielberg and the public housing resident a few blocks away from me. Then there'd be enough IRS collections agents to get Geitner and Emmanuel and the DC crowd to pay their taxes.

Nothing's changed ? Spending quadupled .The Obots have created their next demon for the nationalization of the banks ;and in the process are throwing one of their biggest contributors under the bus... Goldman Sachs or as I like to call them Government Sucks .
Everyone here knows I don't carry water for Goldman ;but I predict in the next couple weeks the Obots will mobilize their mob to do a repeat performance like they did to AIG execs. But the GS execs that have defected into the Obama Adm. Will be exempt .
Jusrt wondering about blinky Madam Mimi Pelosi . If you dropped a coin off her face would it bounce ;or would he face rip ?

I think you have missed it the densest element is KRuddinium. (Symbol KR atomic weight 2007)
This element is so dense that, when in its presence, politicians think that;
The tobacco industry will fund health care
Cigarettes come in plain brown wrappers
An emissions trading scheme can be ressurrected in 2013 or 2015
It doesn't matter if your stimulus package kills people
Tax cuts just happen to coincide with elections
Climate Change is something that happens to other people
Asylum seekers (illegal aliens) will stop coming if you are not nice to them
The dear leader is always right
Budget surpluses magically appear

yeah KRudd is up there . Do you miss Howard yet ?
Little John was getting a little old but his mates are missed, we could do with someone who understands economics and politics about now and a lot less yes men. What I don't understand is why Krudd appears to be the government spokesman on everything as if there are no PR people in the world

yeah KRudd is up there .
Have you noted Tom KR now thinks the mining industry will pay for tax cuts and increases in employer's superannuation contributions. This fellow is so dense he has never heard of transfer pricing and he is going to get the money out of "profits"
So now we have the States who surrender 30% in GST to get an increase in hospital funding, they are just dense enough to believe it.
Small business get tax breaks
Everyone gets a tax cut, except, of course, those of us who don't have income
Everyone gets increased superannuation contributions, except, of course, those of us who don't have a job
The mining companies get a massive tax hike
Interest rates go through the roof
Tobacco products cost more to fund health care, I wonder what happens if everyone quits smoking?
Massive spending in infrastructure, he stayed too long in China
And this fellow thinks we're dense enough to swallow it
How dense can you be? Dense enough to think that digging a hole in the ground magically causes money to appear.
