My wife and I are expecting triplets in October. We have no kids now, so we go from 0 to 3 overnight! I have been able to turn my episodes of sheer panic into motivation to ensure that I have things prepared as much as I can to at least have "organized chaos" instead of the standard "free for all chaos" when they arrive.
Are there any parents of multiples here that may be able to give me useful ideas besides "get sleep now"? (that is really getting old.) Im working on nursery arrangements now - Do we use 3 mini cribs or 2 full size and try to split one crib? (we can't fit 3 full size in nursery) I would like to keep them in same crib for a while, I guess?
Any ideas/ experience with this would be wonderful! Thanks

Only experience is with multiples that I have provided post-partum support for... :)

Yes, you can keep them all in one crib to start with and they will likely appreciate it as well since they are used to be close by each other. Just line them up across the crib instead of top to bottom. You will be able to keep them like this until they become too long and run out of room; touching both sides of the crib.
At some point they will need a bit more space. You could move on with two in one crib... at either end and the other on their own in a second crib. Might rotate who sleeps with whom and see which combination works best. Or you could go with three smaller cribs or travel size cribs which are a bit smaller than standard cribs. Of course, sooner or later, you will need to get larger beds anyway.

Enjoy! It will be chaos now and then, but the fun times will far outweigh the difficult times... oh, and sleep when you can!. sorry... :)
